Ecological Gardening and Edible Landscaping

DESCRIPTION: This class is an introduction to edible landscaping, and perennial farming systems. We will cover the basics starting with observation, site selection, perennial crops, design, and implementation. This is a great intro class, touching briefly on the main topics covered in our advanced, hands on workshop hosted at Sandhill Farms. You will find a good amount of new information in this class, if you are interested in holistic management, sustainable agriculture & perennial food crops this is the class for you. Taught by Taylor Walker of Green Dreams, an experienced Permaculture designer, horticulturalist, and educator, who has hosted classes at many botanical gardens, extension offices, universities and botanical interest groups.
