Meet the team of instructors that will be guiding you throughout this retreat! Anna Hunt, Jade Seibert and Beth Hoerner will be leading the evening Yoga and Meditation Classes. Tracy will be leading the morning Zumba classes and guiding you through Costa Rica, where she was fortunate enough to live for several years.
Tracy Love Tippin is an AFAA certified group fitness instructor and a Zumba instructor since 2009. She enjoys teaching fun and easy to follow, low-impact classes including Aqua Zumba, Zumba, and Zumba Gold Toning, which utilize light weight, maraca-like toning sticks. Shake them to the rhythms and sculpt your upper body while enhancing the overall experience! Tracy lived in Costa Rica for several years and is looking forward to sharing the country she loves with you. She is also an adjunct instructor in the math department and faculty co-advisor for the Sustainability Club at St. Petersburg College.
Anna Hunt is a RYT200 Yoga Alliance certified instructor and a graduate of the Marianne Wells Yoga School. She enjoys helping her students embrace their limitations by incorporating the use of props, intense breath work, and Qi Gong movements. She teaches Hatha classes, which vary from an invigorating Vinyasa Flow to a more precise and calming practice with lots of options for beginners, and Therapeutic Yoga classes for students with physical limitations, injuries, or ones looking for a slower-paced setting. She is a writer and co-editor of Waking Times, an independent news blog focused on sharing mind-opening, provocative and inspirational information. She is also co-owner of Offgrid Outpost, an emergency preparedness online store.
Beth’s interest in the workings of the human mind led her to a psychology degree with study and research in neonatal development . While working in the field of cognitive brain training Beth discovered the transformational power of yoga in reducing stress and anxiety. Since 2007 she has been practicing and studying the spiritual depth of yoga with Yogi Amrit Desai. Beth is a Certified Amrit Yoga Instructor (500 RYT), an Amrit Yoga Nidra Facilitator, Usui Reiki Practitioner, Pranic Healing Practitioner, Oneness Blessing Giver, and is pursuing her interests in Ayurveda and Marma Point Therapy. In her classes, Beth uses a unique combination of postures, breathwork and meditative awareness to help her students cultivate a sense of relaxation, peace, and the ability to move through life joyfully.
